Joint Assessment Overview
On 30 October 2025, Novel Dynamics and the FELCRA Nasaruddin operations team conducted a joint technical review at the mill, which operates at 45 MT/hr. The visit focused on evaluating sterilization consistency, steam utilisation, and overall production workflow to identify areas for performance improvement.
Key Findings from the Visit
During the walkthrough of the sterilization station, condensate system, and kernel recovery line, several efficiency gaps were observed:
- Limited steam penetration due to existing FFB cage design, leading to uneven sterilization and higher unstripped bunches.
- Steam pressure fluctuations, causing inconsistent fruit conditioning and unnecessary steam losses.
- Semi-manual kernel separation, resulting in variable recovery quality and operator-dependent accuracy.
These challenges present clear opportunities to improve throughput, stability, and downstream product quality.
